It’s a bit of a strange brew, but it’s amazing.

-1 1/2 oz. Shmidt Spirits Cobalt
-3/4 oz. Lemon Juice
-3/4 oz. Lillet Rouge
-3/4 oz. Creme de Cacao
-Lemon Twist (for garnish)

Combine all ingredients in shaker with ice.

Shake until chilled.

Strain into coupe glass.

Garnish with twist of lemon.

This update of the 20th Century (yes, it's an update, even though the name suggests it is 100 years earlier, just roll with it) is a darker spin on the classic. Obviously master distiller Brian Roan prefers this one, because it's got whiskey in it instead of gin, and it uses the red wine base of Lillet Rouge, instead of its white wine-based predecessor. Mix one up to warm you up!

Shake all ingredients with ice.

Strain into coupe glass.

There's something timeless about the look and taste of this gin cocktail. The Lillet Blanc gives it a dry white wine character, while the Creme de Cacao lends it a slightly bitter chocolate note. The lemon juice and gin, meanwhile, add in their distinctive citrus and floral notes, creating a drink that wouldn't be out of place at the Waldorf Astoria or in your own living room.

Hibiscus and grape combine with Silver to make an incredible cocktail.

-2 oz. Shmidt Spirits Silver
-1/2 oz. 1:1 Simple syrup
-1 1/2 oz. Double strength hibiscus tea
-1/2 oz. Lime juice
-Four red grapes

Brew hibiscus tea to double strength, and allow to cool in refrigerator.

Muddle grapes in cocktail shaker.

Add in Silver, simple syrup, chilled tea, and lime juice.

Shake until chilled.

Serve neat and garnish with grapes if desired. Enjoy!

Given that our Silver rye whiskey is finished in a chardonnay barrel, it should come as no surprise that a cocktail made with muddled grapes ends up tasting so delicious. The addition of tart hibiscus to the mix makes this a brightly colored but deceptively subtle cocktail, lacking the overwhelming sweetness one might expect. A refreshing and daring drink.
