Crimson Calamity
A strong, bold summer drink.
A strong drink of red. Dedicated to the band Crimson Calamity.
- 2 oz. Inkwell Unaged Red Corn Whiskey
- 1 oz Agua Hibisco
- 3/4 oz. Lavender Honey Simple Syrup
- 3/4 oz. Cranberry Juice
- 2 dashs of Peychaud's.
Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice.
shake vigorously
strain into a glass
You can garnish with a cherry for extra red.
To celebrate our FREE August 19th concert with the band Crimson Calamity we decided to create a delicious crimson cocktail. Using a series of serendipitously red materials, we've crafted the perfect drink to sip while cooling off with some blazing tunes.
Camino Agrio
A strong, bold summer drink.
Inspired by Arthur’s childhood in Mexico.
- 2 oz. Cobalt Rye Whiskey
- 1 oz Lime Juice
- 1 oz. Tamarind Simple Syrup
Combine all ingredients into a shaker with ice.
Shake until chilled and strain into a coupe glass.
For a bit more flavor, the glass can be rimmed with sugar (we use Nativo Spices spiced sugar).
This beautiful little drink is inspired by Arthur's childhood in Mexico. It starts with homemade tamarind syrup and culminates in a sour-inspired cocktail that is sure to make the summer sun much more bearable.

- 2 oz. Viridian Gin
- 1 oz Lime Juice
- 1 oz. Simple Syrup
- 1 tsp. Marmalade
- 5 Drops of salt water
Dissolve salt into warm water to create a saline solution.
Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice, and shake until chilled.
Double strain to make sure to get out all the solids of the marmalade.
You could maybe accuse us of being a little to eager to try new things, and this cocktail would be Exhibit A. Sweetened with marmalade and balanced out with a few drops of salt water (really), this curious cocktail will impress and beguile in equal measure.

- 1 1/5 oz. Cobalt Rye Whiskey
- 1. oz Espresso
- 1 oz. Kahlua
- 1/4 True Rich Simple Syrup from Pratt Standard
Add all of the ingredients into a shaker with ice.
Shake until chilled.

Sometimes you need a pick me up with your cocktail. In that case, adding some espresso to your booze. This simple and delicious espresso martini is just what you need to start off the night or end a nice meal.

- 1/2 oz Agua Hibisco
- 1/2 oz. Simple Syrup
- 3/4 oz. Lemon Juice
This cocktail is stirred, allowing it to chill without overly diluting its subtle flavor through shaking.
Combine all ingredient in a glass with ice, stir, and enjoy.
Embellish with a lemon wheel as desired.
How many times have you sipped a cocktail and found it truly, actually refreshing. The summer blossom is a sweet, flavorful cocktail that is not overly saccharine, and will leave you feeling utterly quenched. It makes use of our enigmatic Silver rye whiskey and our much beloved Agua Hibisco to make a spectacular summer treat.

-1 oz. Blueberry simple syrup
-Tonic
make the blueberry simple syrup by dissolving 1/2 cup sugar with 1/2 cup hot water. Add 1/2 blueberries and allow to sit for at least an hour before straining.
combine syrup, lime juice, Viridian gin, and pour over ice.
Top with tonic water to taste, and enjoy!
