Crimson Calamity

A strong, bold summer drink.

 

A strong drink of red. Dedicated to the band Crimson Calamity.

 

- 2 oz. Inkwell Unaged Red Corn Whiskey
- 1 oz Agua Hibisco
- 3/4 oz. Lavender Honey Simple Syrup
- 3/4 oz. Cranberry Juice
- 2 dashs of Peychaud's. 


Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice.

shake vigorously

strain into a glass

You can garnish with a cherry for extra red.

Gin Marmalade

A gin cocktail sweetened with marmalade

 

A gin cocktail sweetened with marmalade

 

- 2 oz. Viridian Gin
- 1 oz Lime Juice
- 1 oz. Simple Syrup
- 1 tsp. Marmalade
- 5 Drops of salt water


Dissolve salt into warm water to create a saline solution.

Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice, and shake until chilled.

Double strain to make sure to get out all the solids of the marmalade. 


You could maybe accuse us of being a little to eager to try new things, and this cocktail would be Exhibit A. Sweetened with marmalade and balanced out with a few drops of salt water (really), this curious cocktail will impress and beguile in equal measure.

Evening London Fog

An incredibly beguiling, drinkable effervescent cocktail.

 

A deliciously effervescent cocktail.

 

-1.5 oz. Inkwell Unaged Whiskey
-1 oz. Pratt Standard Earl Grey Vanilla Syrup
-3/4 oz. Lime Juice
-3 oz. Seltzer


Fill a highball glass with ice.

Add all ingredients over ice.

Stir gently to combine to avoid flattening the drink. Enjoy!

Take a famous cocktail and make it better with unaged corn whiskey,

-2 oz. Inkwell Corn Whiskey
-1 oz. Lemon Juice 
-3/4 oz. Triple Sec
-Egg White


Combine all the ingredients into a Boston shaker with ice.

For extra foam, add a cocktail spring to really whip that egg white.

Shake vigorously and strain into a glass. Enjoy!

-1/2 oz. Orange Juice 
-1 1/2 oz. Lime Juice
-1 oz. Simple Syrup


Add everything into a shaker with ice.

Shake vigorously.

Strain into a glass with ice and enjoy!


Nothing says summer quite like a margarita. The summer standby is made with tequila, but as we aren't making an agave spirit yet, we had to improvise for our own version. Using our new Inkwell white whiskey, we've made a delicious moonshine margarita that will have you longing for the beach.

The Pink Moon

An original cocktail made just to showcase our unaged corn whiskey.

 

An original cocktail made just to showcase our unaged corn whiskey.

 

-2 oz. Inkwell Red Corn Whiskey
-1 oz. Lavender Orange Blossom Honey Syrup 
-1/2 oz. Lime Juice
-2-3 dashes Peychaud's Bitters


To make the lavender orange blossom honey syrup, steep dried lavender flowers in hot water (4 tsp per cup, more if desired) for ten minutes.

Once the flowers have been removed, add an equal volume of orange blossom honey and stir until combined. Keep chilled.

Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice, shake until chilled.

Strain into rocks glass with ice. Enjoy!
